Pingsi-Rueifang-Sijhih Scenic Tours
The North Coast scenic area stretches along a winding shore of jutting promontories and hidden coves. This region boasts some of Taiwan's most varied landforms, from steeply rising cliffs to sea-eroded rock platforms. There are also spectacular coastal rock formations formed from the magna of the Datun volcanic range and sedimentary rock. This area can be accessed by the northern section of the Coastal Highway (Provincial Hwy 2), which connects the towns of Danshuei, Sanjhih, Shihmen, Jinshan and Wanli. Along this 60 or so kilometer route one can explore the historical and cultural sites of Danshuei and enjoy the natural beauty of the coast, local specialties, and delicious local snacks.

Jioufen-Jinguashih One-day Tour
Take the Sun Yat-sen Fwy to the Coastal Hwy Interchange (3k heading north)¡÷Provincial Hwy. 2D¡÷Rueifang¡÷Turn right onto Hwy 102¡÷Jioufen¡÷North 34 Hwy¡÷Jinguashih¡÷Continue along North 34 Hwy to Shueinan Cave¡÷Return along Provincial Hwy. 2 to Taipei or Keelung
*Jioufen-Jinguashih scenic spots: Jishan St. to Shuci Rd. (snack street), Prince Guest House, Fushan Temple, Jinshuei Hwy, Cyuanji Temple, Huangjin Waterfall.
*Parking is difficult in Jioufen, so drivers are advised to park at Daganlin Bridge or at the No. 9 parking lot next to Jioufen Train Station. On holidays, there is a shuttle bus from Keelung to Jioufen.
Wanli-Jinshan On-day Summer Tour (Best time to go: Summer)
Take the 2nd N. Fwy to the Keelung-Jinmen Interchange¡÷Follow Provincial Hwy 2¡÷Wanli bathing beach or return to Feitsueiwan (Green Bay) (water sports, lunch)¡÷Yeliou Special Scenic Area (lunch, Ocean World, Neptune Yacht Amusement Park)¡÷Jinshan Youth Activity Center (beach and water sports )¡÷Juming Museum (approx. 3 hours)¡÷Duck and seafood dinner in front of Guang-an Temple in historic Jinshan¡÷Return by the same route, the Yangmingshan-Jinshan Hwy, or the Badu Interchange.
